Typing Trainer

Typing Trainer teaches touch typing the way typists learn it: fingers on the home row, eyes on the screen. The next key glows on a keyboard coloured by finger, so your child always knows which finger to use. There is no clock at first; speed comes later, and accuracy always counts more.

What your child learns

  • Where each finger lives on the keyboard
  • Typing letters and words without looking down
  • Short sentences in their own language
  • Accuracy first, then a steady speed

How to play

Put your fingers on the home row and feel the bumps on F and J. Type the letters in the line: the glowing key shows where the next one is and which finger presses it. A wrong key shakes softly. Works with English, Bulgarian (phonetic and BDS), Russian and Ukrainian keyboards.

Levels

  1. Level 1The home row, one pair of fingers at a time; no clock.
  2. Level 2Every letter: short words a child knows.
  3. Level 3Short sentences, then words a minute and how many were right.

A tip for parents

A real keyboard makes all the difference: on a tablet, plug one in. Ten minutes a day beats an hour once a week.

Works on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install. No ads and no tracking.
