Snakes & Ladders
Snakes & Ladders is the classic race game, made for counting. Your child rolls the die and hops one square at a time while Owlie counts aloud, so numbers turn into steps on a board. A ladder lifts the counter up, a snake slides it down, and Owlie says where it lands.

What your child learns
- Counting on, one square at a time
- Reading the dots on a die
- Numbers up to 30, 50 and 100
- Taking turns and losing with a smile
How to play
Tap the die. On the first board, tap the next squares one by one while Owlie counts. Then your counter hops by itself. On the big board, first tap the square where you will land. Play against Owlie or a friend.
Levels
- Level 1Squares 1–30: tap each hop and count with Owlie.
- Level 2Squares 1–50: the counter hops while Owlie counts.
- Level 3Squares 1–100: tap where you will land first (24 + 5 = ?).
A tip for parents
It is a game of luck, so everyone can win. Count the hops out loud together: that is where the learning is.
