What your child learns

  • What AND, OR, NOT and XOR do
  • Reading and using truth tables
  • Combining gates into small circuits

How to play

Flip the switches until the lamp lights; the glowing wires show what each gate does. On level 2 your child names the gate behind a truth table. Four right answers finish a level.

Levels

  1. Level 1One gate: light the lamp.
  2. Level 2Which gate makes this truth table?
  3. Level 3Two gates and three switches.

A tip for parents

Ask your teen how a light with two switches on the stairs could work: which gate is it?
