What your child learns
- Thinking a few moves ahead
- Spotting forced jumps and double jumps
- Planning to reach the far side and crown a king
How to play
Tap a piece: where it can go is marked, tap there. Jumps are a must, and a double jump is tapped landing by landing. A piece on the far row is crowned. Taking every piece, or leaving the other side no move, wins.
Levels
- Level 16 × 6 board, easy Owlie.
- Level 28 × 8, Owlie thinks 3 moves ahead.
- Level 38 × 8, Owlie thinks 5 moves ahead.
A tip for parents
Play a game as a friend on the same screen: children love beating a grown-up, and it’s a good lesson in losing well too.
