What your child learns
- What a fraction like 3/8 means
- Seeing a fraction as part of a whole
- Comparing fractions, and that 1/2 is the same as 2/4
How to play
Owlie asks for a fraction, for example 2 of 6 slices. Your child taps slices to add cheese and checks. Later they choose the matching pizza among three, then which of two pizzas has more cheese, or whether they are the same.
Levels
- Level 1Make the fraction: put cheese on the slices.
- Level 2Find that pizza among three.
- Level 3Which pizza has more, or the same?
