What your child learns

  • The letters of the alphabet, by shape and by sound
  • The first sound of a word (A for apple)
  • Listening and matching a sound to a letter

How to play

The train pulls into a station with a few wagons. Your child taps each wagon to hear its letter and word, then Owlie asks for one letter and your child finds it. A wrong tap is no problem: Owlie simply says that letter.

Levels

  1. Stations 1–5A few letters at each station, the whole alphabet by the last one.

A tip for parents

Say the words together after Owlie, and look for the same letters in a book or on signs outside.
